SOUR CREAM CHICKEN QUICHE
1 (9 Inch) frozen pie crusts, thawed
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 C. chopped onion
1/4 C. chopped green bell pepper
1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 C. chopped cooked chicken breast
1/4 Tsp. salt
1/4 Tsp. nutmeg
1/4 Tsp. black pepper
1/2 C. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 C. shredded Swiss cheese
2 Eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 C. milk
3/4 C. sour cream
HOW TO MAKE:
Prep : 20 m – Cook : 1 h – Ready In : 1 h 20 m
1-Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2-Line a 9 inch pie plate with thawed pie crust. Keep in refrigerator until ready to fill.
3-In medium frying pan, heat olive oil on medium-high.
4-Add onion and green pepper.
5-Cook three minutes, stirring frequently.
6-Add flour and cook for two minutes, stirring frequently. S
7-tir in chicken, salt, nutmeg and pepper.
8-Spread this mixture over bottom of unbaked pie shell and top with Cheddar and Swiss cheese.
9-Combine eggs, milk and sour cream, mix until smooth. Pour over chicken mixture.
10-Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes.
11-Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake 30 to 35 minutes until inserted knife comes out clean.
