PINEAPPLE-ORANGE SUNSHINE CAKE

If you feel like making a homemade birthday cake, there’s nothing better than this pineapple orange sunshine cake. With the proper decorations, you will make the perfect cake!

INGREDIENTS:

{FOR THE CAKE}
• 1 box of yellow cake mix with pudding.
• 1 [11 ounces] can of mandarin oranges with juice.
• 1/2 cup of oil.
• 4 large eggs.
{FOR THE FROSTING}
• 1 package of Jell-O no bake cheesecake mix.
• 1 [20 ounces] can of crushed pineapples with juice.
• 1 cup of sour cream.
• 1 [16 ounces] container of cool whip.

INSTRUCTIONS:

-Preheat the oven to 350° and grease and flour a 9×13 pan or 2 9’’ round or square pans.
In a mixing bowl, mix together the cake mix, oranges and oil on medium speed until blended. Add in the eggs one at a time while beating.
-Pour the batter in the pan you choose and bake for 20 minutes.
-Let the cake cool while you make the frosting.

To make the frosting, mix the cheesecake mix, crushed pineapples and sour cream in a bowl until well blended. Add in the cool whip and mix.
-Once the cake is cooled, frost it and refrigerate until serving time.Enjoy!
