Old School Blackberry Cobbler

OLD SCHOOL BLACKBERRY COBBLER

YOU’LL NEED:

3 C. of fresh blackberries
1 C. granulated sugar
4 Oz. butter
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 C. pineapple juice or apple juice (juice preserves the natural fruit flavor)
2 Tbsp. cornstarch

HOW TO MAKE:

1-Combine all ingredients( except cornstarch)in a boiler and bring to a boil
2-Add cornstarch ( slurry)
3-To pot and cook until thicken
4-Pour into baking dish with raw bottom pie dough
5-Add top crust and brush with melted butter and cinnamon sugar
6-Cook in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until golden brown
