My Grandm’s Sloppy Joe

MY GRANDMA’S SLOPPY JOE

YOU’LL NEED:

1 POUND LEAN GROUND BEEF
1/4 C. CHOPPED ONION
1/4 C. CHOPPED GREEN BELL PEPPER
1/2 TSP. GARLIC POWDER
1 TSP. PREPARED YELLOW MUSTARD3/4 CUP KETCHUP
3 TSP. BROWN SUGAR
SALT TO TASTE
GROUND BLACK PEPPER TO TASTE

HOW TO MAKE:

Prep : 10 m – Cook : 30 m – Ready In : 40 m

1-In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, onion, and green pepper; drain off liquids.
2-Stir in the garlic powder, mustard, ketchup, and brown sugar; mix thoroughly.
3-Reduce heat, and simmer for 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
