A quick and easy marshmallow frosting recipe that is delicious! Great for S’mores without the campfire or a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich.
Preparation time 15 mins
Cooking time 15 mins
4 Large egg whites
1 C. ordinary sugar, white or brown
1 Pinch salt
1 Tsp. vanilla essence
HOW TO MAKE:
1-In a heat proof bowl, add the eggs, sugar and salt.
2-Whisk the egg white mixture constantly over simmering water until the sugar dissolves and the mix is hot to the touch, approximately 5 minutes.
3-Pour the mix into a larger bowl and continue mixing with an electric mixer for about 3 minutes.
4-Add the vanilla while mixing. After 3 minutes, the mixture will be a nice fluffy texture.
5-Using a plastic bag with a tip cut off, simply pipe it straight out the end of the piping bag directly onto the cupcakes.
