CINABUN CAKE (CINNAMON BUN CAKE)
My Mom makes the best cinnamon buns. I don’t make cinnamon buns…I’ve been craving Mom’s cinnamon buns, but they’ve been away. So I had to improvise.
»3 C. flour.
»1/4 Tsp. salt.
»1 C. sugar.
»4 Tsps. baking powder.
»1-1/2 C. milk.
»2 Tsps. vanilla.
»1/2 C. butter, melted.
»1 C. butter, softened.
»1 C. brown sugar.
»2 Tbsps. flour.
»1 Tbsp. cinnamon.
»2 C. icing sugar.
»5 Tbsps. milk.
»1 Tsp. vanilla.
HOW TO MAKE:
1-Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a 9*13 baking pan,(buttered).
2-Mix all of the base ingredients together, with the exception of the butter…Add the melted butter last ,and then pour into your prepared pan.
3-Mix all of the topping ingredients together in a separate bowl. Mix well.. .Drop by Tsp. ful over the base, as evenly as you can over the entire base. Take a butter knife and swirl the topping into the base. Pop into the oven, and bake for 28 to 30 mins.
4-While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze and set aside.
5-Remove from oven, and glaze the cake while still warm.
