CHOPPED STEAK WITH GRAVY
• 3 Tablespoons butter.
• 1 1/2 Pound ground chuck.
• worcestershire sauce.
• 1/4 Cup plus 2 Tablespoons all purpose flour.
• 10.5 Ounces can french onion soup.
• 1 Packet au jus gravy mix.
• 3 Cup water.
-Heat the butter in a large rimmed skillet over med. high heat.
-Make 6 large patties with the ground chuck and season with a little worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
-Place 1/4 Cup of the flour on a plate and dredge each patty in the flour and then place in the skillet.
-Fry for 3 to 4minutes per side till golden brown. Meanwhile, whisk together the water and gravy mix, set aside.
-Remove the meat from the pan and add 2 Tablespoons flour, stirring up any bits in the pan. Add the soup and au jus gravy mix and stir.
-Bring up to a boil then lower the heat to low and add the patties back to the pan. Cook for 40minutes.
-Turning the patties halfway through the cooking time.
