5-WAYS TO FLAVOR BUTTER
4-BACON AND CHEESE
You’ll Need:
•1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature.
•4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, drippings reserved.
•2/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated.
•2 tablespoons chives, minced.
•salt and pepper, to taste.
How to Make:
-Allow the butter to come to room temperature before starting.
-Beat the butter until creamy, then add in the cooked and crumbled, minced chives, sharp cheddar, salt and pepper, and bacon drippings. Mix until well combined.
-Scrape down the sides of the bowl and turn the mixture out onto a piece of parchment paper. Using the back of a spatula, spread out the mixture into a log shape. Roll the parchment paper up and twist the ends.
-Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the flavors to come together.
