THE BEST CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE FROSTING RECIPE

YOU’LL NEED:

¼ C salted butter
1 8 oz. Cream cheese or Neufchatel cream cheese
1 Tsp. Vanilla extract (I use Mexican extract because it is better)
4 C confectioners/Powdered sugar
¼-1/3 C cocoa baking powder (start with ¼ C and add as desired)

HOW TO MAKE:

1-First, soften the butter and unwrapped-cream cheese in the microwave. For a firmer consistency don’t melt either one.
2-Next, add all of the ingredients and only 1 C powdered sugar in a mixing bowl.
3-Mix on low speed adding the rest of the powdered sugar slowly until it is all added.
4-Mix on high for 1-2 minutes until the frosting is smooth.
Taste Test.
5-Depending on your preferences you may want to add more cocoa powder (which is why I recommend starting with ¼ C and adding more to taste).
