Starbucks Lemon Loaf

STARBUCKS LEMON LOAF

I don’t know about you guys, but one of my favorite cakes is lemon cakes. Lemon adds a magical taste to the cake, you should really try for yourself if you haven’t already! Check out this Starbucks lemon loaf!

YOU’LL NEED:

for the loaf:

1 ½ C. of flour.
½ Tsp. of baking soda.
½ Stp of baking powder.
½ Tsp. of salt.
3 Eggs.
1 C. of sugar.
2 Tbsps. of softened butter.
1 Tsp. of vanilla.
1 Tsp. of lemon extract.
⅓ C. of lemon juice.
½ C. of oil.

for lemon icing:

1 C. and 1 tbsp of powdered sugar.
2 Tbsps. of whole milk.
½ Tsp. of lemon extract

HOW TO MAKE:

1-Preheat the oven to 350° and grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
2-In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
3-In a medium bowl, with a mixer, mix together the eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, lemon extract and lemon juice.
4-Mix the dry and the wet ingredients and blend to smooth. Add in oil and mix until well blended.
5-Pour the batter in the loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.
6-To make the icing, mix together the ingredients with an electric mixer on low speed.
7-Once the loaf cools, top with the icing.
8-Let cool completely before serving.

Simple, easy and sweet! I made this last Friday, there was nothing left to store! Give it a try, you will thank me later!
