PUMPKIN PEANUT BUTTER DOG TREATS

 

Baked treats for your furry friends with peanut butter and pumpkin.

YOU’LL NEED:

2 C. whole wheat flour
2 Eggs
1/2 C. canned pumpkin
1/4 C. creamy peanut butter
1/4 Tsp. salt
1/2 Tsp. cinnamon

HOW TO MAKE:

1-Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2-In a large bowl, add the flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt, and cinnamon; mix well.
3-If the dough is too thick to stir at the end, knead with hands until combined.
4-Lightly flour the surface and roll out the dough into about a 1/2-inch thick layer.
5-Cut into shapes using a cookie cutter or biscuit cutter.
6-Use a fork to poke holes in each cookie.
7-Place on an un-greased baking sheet and bake about 20 to 25 minutes or until firm.
8-Allow to cool before serving.
