HAM AND CHEESE SCONES
You’ll love this Ham and Cheese Scones recipe.

3 C. flour
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tsp. salt
8 Tbsp. butter, at room temperature
1 C. plus 1 tablespoon milk
1 C. cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 C. Canadian ham, diced (or any type of ham)
1/2 Large onion, diced
HOW TO MAKE:
1-Preheat oven to 400º.
2-In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, baking powder and salt.
3-Cut in butter with pastry cutter or the tines of a fork.
4-Add milk and mix just until incorporated.
5-Fold in cheese, ham and onion.
6-Turn dough out onto a floured surface.
7-Knead gently for several minutes.
8-Press dough into a 1½” thick circle and place on a cookie sheet.
9-Bake at 400º F for thirty minutes or until golden brown.
